Downton Abbey star Downtons mom dies at 88

A longtime fan of Downtonic Abbey has died at 88, according to TMZ.
The Los Angeles Times reported Monday that Liza Haines, who is best known for her role as Molly’s grandmother in the HBO series, passed away in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Haines starred in the ABC sitcom for six seasons, starting in 1987 and ending in 2003.
Hannes was best known as Molly, a former nurse at the Abbey who works in a hospital, before her granddaughter Molly and her husband, actor William Hainese, introduced her to Downtonics in season five.
She became an integral part of the show, playing Molly’s mother, Elizabeth, a well-liked member of the family.
Hannah HainES, who has been known as Downtoni’s mother since the 1990s, has died.
“Liza Hains, one of the most loved actresses on television, has passed away,” her rep said in a statement.

O’Conner had left the series in the late ’90s to work as a producer on the AMC drama series Downtonia.
Haniels had reportedly broken up with O’Connors in 2006, saying that they had no sexual relationship.
In 2013, Hainens estranged husband, former radio personality Kevin Olliffe, died after a brief relationship with his girlfriend.
In a statement, Olliffs lawyer, Michael B. Johnson, said he was saddened by the news of Hainys death.
“Downton is the most beloved show on television and it is the source of much happiness for many,” he said in the statement.
“The love that Downtony has given to the world for over 20 years is irreplaceable.”
Hainesh’s first appearance on the series came in 2006 as the character Molly, the granddaughter of Molly and Elizabeth, who works as a nurse at a local hospital.
The series has since featured numerous versions of the character, including her own spinoff series, The Diary of a Young Girl.
Hainas first major role came as Molly in 2008, appearing in a supporting role alongside Olliffes on the NBC show Parenthood.
