So, without further ado, let’s get to it.
The best movies of 2017-18: 1.
The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Director: Nikolaj Arcel The Dark Tower director Nikolaj Archilog has a new movie coming out in 2018: The Dark Ring, a sequel to his 2009 cult classic.
This movie, directed by Nikolaj’s brother-in-law and fellow Icelandic filmmaker Björn Arnalds, is set in a fictional version of New York City in the 20s, which is where the Gunslinger (Nelson Pierce) lives.
This isn’t a film about a single gunman who comes to New York to kill everyone, but rather, a fictionalized version of the New York Police Department, which has the same name and is led by the same chief, Robert “The Black Cat” Turturro.
The movie is set to be released in theatres across the United States on January 16, 2019, and is one of the first major Hollywood films to include an entirely new cast and crew, including Michael Caine, Idris Elba, and James McAvoy.
The LEGO Batman Movie: The LEGO Movie Director, Michael Arndt, is back for a third LEGO Batman movie in 2019.
This time, the story is a young man named Will Arnott (Tom Cruise), who becomes a superhero by getting himself into trouble and ends up getting locked up in Arkham Asylum, a mental institution in Gotham City.
After being released, Will goes on to a series of events, culminating in an attack on the Batcave by the Joker (Oscar Isaac) in his first film.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Peter Parker: The Ultimate Collection Director Andrew Garfield is back in 2018 for a sequel that will see him taking on a new identity, the webslinger, and helping Spider-Woman (Julia Stiles) in her bid to help the Spider-family out.
While the film has a few issues, such as a few scenes where Peter tries to take care of a little boy, Garfield’s take on the character is definitely a refreshing one.
