The Battlestar, starring Robin Williams and Bryan Cranston, is a sci-fi comedy starring Michael Keaton, that has racked up $1.3 billion in worldwide box office sales and $1 billion in Australian box office receipts since its release in 2006.
The film was written by the same writers that brought us “The Hunger Games” and the upcoming “Transformers” sequel, and it was released by the Walt Disney Company in May.
The movie is the first to feature a black lead in a major role.
The cast of “Battleship” included the Oscar-winning actor and two-time Oscar nominee, Robin Williams, as Captain William “Buck” Beckett and his daughter, Bibi, as the lead character, Sarah Jane.
Williams played a commander in the crew of the USS USS Discovery during the Battle of Coral Sea.
In the film, the crew is divided between two teams: the Discovery, led by Commander Jack (Bryan Cranston), and the USS Discovery, commanded by the character’s brother, James (Josh Hart).
The Discovery crew is led by Lieutenant Commander Sarah Jane Smith, played by Sandra Bullock.
The USS Discovery crew consists of: Lieutenant Commander John Sheppard (Barry Pepper), Chief Engineer Thomas Middleditch (Aaron Paul), Commander James T. Kirk (Leonardo DiCaprio), and Captain William Beckett (Michael Keaton).
The movie’s star, Jennifer Garner, is the daughter of actor and director Robert Downey Jr. She played the lead in the “Iron Man” franchise.
She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.
“Bargaining” The movie was released in August, 2015, by Warner Bros. The “Barracuda” franchise, which is based on the television series, has grossed more than $1,400 million in worldwide ticket sales, with more than two thirds of that total coming from ticket sales in the United States.
The movies, which are not necessarily related, are set in a post-apocalyptic world, which also includes a planet with two superpowers, the Barracuda and the Wasp.
It has grosses of more than a billion dollars, and the film has been nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture.
“The Last Emperor” is the third film in the franchise to have a global release, following “The Emperor’s New Clothes” in March, 2014, and “The Great Wall” in April, 2015.
It is the only film to have earned over $1 trillion worldwide.
The franchise, in turn, has spawned two sequels, “The World’s Greatest Super Heroes,” which was released this past June, and a third film, “Cats and Dogs,” which is scheduled to be released on September 17.
“Tales from the Borderlands” was the fourth film in “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” franchise in theaters, following the “Tropic Thunder” sequel “Dangerous Liaisons” and “Won’t Back Down.”
The film grossed over $2 billion worldwide.
It was released to critical acclaim with box office success in China, where it made $637 million, and with international success with over $800 million in ticket sales.
“Battle of the Bastards” was released on May 21, 2018, by MGM and Lionsgate.
